My sister Amanda and I will be booting it in The Super Cities Walk for MS in Cambridge this spring. Our mom was diagnosed with the disease back when I was a kid and then had the diagnosis offically confirmed in 1999 after experiencing health problems such as double and loss of vision as well as the temporary loss of feeling in her arm and face. Although the disease has been dormant in her for the past few years, we are walking in honour of her and in support of finding a cure. We have been fortunate that the disease has not severely affected our family and our mom is still able to give'r. We know that not everyone is as lucky as we have been. It is our hope that a cure will be found so that our family or anyone else’s will not have to live with this devastating disease in the future. Any amount of support you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
