Advice of the day for August 29th (delayed)

Advice: Try to keep in mind that the reason you love a particular movie or CD is probably not because it is a universal classic for all humanity, but because it appeals to your personal peculiarities. Stop trying to bully us into liking what you like. Oh, and don't try to force your tastes on your girlfriend or boyfriend. The reason you are sexually attracted to that person is because she or he is different from you. Those differences include pop-culture tastes.

I have finally realized that someone is not an idiot if they love the Wack Eyed Peas or Ashlee Simpson, they are just "different".

I gotta go. There's a dude next to me and he's watching me type, which is sort of starting to creep me out. Yes dude next to me, I mean you.

Movie: Assault on Precinct 13 is actually a solid movie. It's a pure no-nonsense throwback action flick with Laurence Fishburne making a particularly effective anti-hero.

Game: Mercenaries, available on every console. Imagine Grand Theft Auto.....ok are you there? Imagine it in a big massive warzone with the ability to take over any vehicle including helicopters and the ability to call in all sorts of devastating airstrikes and cruise missile attacks on targets. Go rent it.

Music: Lot's of guys claim to be the "King of the South", but for my money David Banner is the one. Try to find a song called "Cadillac's on 22's" off of his mississipi album. Now get on a car, any car and start driving around....it's amazing. Worlds away from any Lil'Jon crunk anthems (which are still awesome). This is the one song that I would play for anyone who says they hate that southern style "crunk" music.
