I just watched a documenty on cbc that was produced by the bbc as most good ones are.

It was about the Beslan Seige - Chechnyan terrorists held a school for three days,171 kids and 200 adults died in the end - last September. The whole thing was narrated by children who had been in the school. One boy walked through the school and showed the room where they killed his father. It was very sad, I cried a lot. You wonder how anyone could do this to children... or anyone. Then the last 20 mintues is the kids talking about how they want to kill all the terrorists. One says he want to be the President of Russia and all the unarmed terrorists will be brought to his office and he will kill them with a knife.

I do not understand how anyone can know things like this happen in the world and not want to do something to try and stop it.

I don't understand why parties think retribution will solve anything.
