Advice of the Day for September 8th 2005!

Posted by phduffy on 2005-09-07 22:57:46
Sorry about that, not sure how it happened.

If you have to call a company that uses voice recognition software to navigate their menues (like Rogers), just say "operator" and hit 0 as soon as you start in the tree, because the dumb assholes that set the system up make you enter your phone number... and then the first thing that happens once you get a real person is... they ask you your phone number. And you'll just end up in the wrong department anyways, so you may as well talk to an operator to begin with.

Quote of the Day:
I think Barbara Bush said some dumb shit, but I cna't find it.
Okay, from Dr. Seuss, via Beth:
be who you are and say what you feel.. because those who mind dont matter and those who matter don't mind

Site of the Day: (Again from Palmer, about video games getting easier):
Then it leads onto an interesting article at Tom's hardware:
This is a poem made out of stuff that Bush has said.
