After a long absence i have returned with a list of cds that I’ve been listening to as of late.

K'naan - The Dusty Foot Philosopher: Hip Hop (young contemporary Somali -Canadian artist/singer/poet that makes goooood music and is finally starting to get a lot of credit)

Dolorean - Violence in the Snowy Fields : Rock/"Indie Rock" (has a bit of the country tavern two step feel to it and of course a pedal steel, who doesn't love the pedal steel?!)

Bedouin Soundclash - Sounding a Mosaic : Reggae(ish) (for fans of Bob Marley and Joe Strummer it's perfect really)

Kanye West - Late Registration : it's good. As much as I hate him and think that his head has swollen to the point where it could be separated from his body, shot into space, and considered a planet, i like this album.

Sufjan Stevens - Come on feel the Illinois: this album is Epic; he does an amazing job at drawing his pop melodies from classic rock and progressive folk. EPIC!

Various Artists - 100% Dynamite: I love Studio 1 (reggae), and I think that is all I have to say about that.

Defacto – Mega Shotgun Blast – for fans of Cedric Bixler and Omar Lopez (At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta) a dub side project that is glorious.

so much more, but really I should get back to work [don't fire me Seth.]
