Never be afraid to try different foods. Always be willing to expand your culinary horizons. If something is set before you, barring any deadly food allergens, give it a try and save your judgment for afterward.
Whist on my trip to Korea I was able to try everything from Live Octopus to Duck's Blood, and many more interesting dishes. I didn't LOVE everything, but I gave it all a try.
