"If ever there were a band that stood out from the pop-punk sound-alikes, it's Minneapolis' Motion City Soundtrack. Melodic, clean, crunchy and catchy as all hell with generous helpings of keyboard that zing and whiz with giddy abandon."
- LA Weekly

"The album has the distinction of being one of the first flawless records of 2005... An even mix of updated new wave and addictive pop swathed in punk-rock sensibilities, this is the perfect medicine for anyone who has recently cursed the current state of music."
- InsiteAtlanta.com

Motion City Soundtrack is something of a rarity: a pop-punk band that doesn’t fill me with anger when I hear their music. The band has been slowly building a following since forming in 1999 and based on the singles they’ve released to date, I’m surprised MCS hasn’t become bigger than they currently are. The band is presently on tour supporting their pop-tastic second album, which can be heard here if you are interested: http://www.motioncitysoundtrack.com/_music/musicplayer.php

Also, if you’ve been digging the song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” then you won’t be disappointed by Panic! At the Disco’s debut album. The CD is currently selling for $11 at HMV and several of the tracks are available for listening at the links below.
