If you decapitate somebody it would indicate that you remove their head somewhere around the neck region.

If you can decapitate someone then would it not stand to reason that at some point they were capitated? Would it not also be possible to recapitate them?

I would therefore like to propose the following:

capitate: to put someones head on

capitated: to have your head on.

recapitate: to put someones head back on. This sparked some debate about the person needing to be alive for this to work, but I disagree with that view.

This inevitably lead to:

capitation: to give someone head.

Try to use this word (or all of the words) in various communications of your day. I'm guessing that the results will be super-fantastic, but I have been known to be very wrong in the past.
