Pajiba's List of Great (Non-Superhero) Graphic Novels to Read

I have into comics off and on, but have mainly stuck with the superhero genre. I'm now intrigued to get into some of these other gems - Wathcmen and Fable sound extremely good.

Anyone out there have any other faves?
