Advice of the Day for September 10th, 2007!

Posted by phduffy on 2007-09-10 19:51:27
Wow, I almost sent out the same advice as last week.

It's really important for you that you have some kind of a mentor at work. This person could also be a friend, but make sure you have someone. If not, start treating someone that way. And don't be afraid to have more than one! For those of you with more seniority, I suppose that being a mentor would also be pretty cool.

Quote of the Day:
So I'm talking to co-workers, and I mention that I have a friend who doesn't think it's possible to steal from Rogers. Not that it's justified, but that the concept of stealing from Rogers doesn't exist. So she says "yeah, I kind of agree with that Hercules attitude". We keep talking about it, and again she says "I understand the Hercules mentality". Then, finally, she says "Wait... was it Robin Hood or Hercules who did the stealing?"
