Many people have a hard time figuring out the cost of a downside risk. Take applying for a job for example. Some people will freak out and not do not and agonize over it. There's literally almost no cost, other than time. There are all kinds of other things in life like that. So, if you're afraid of doing something, maybe do another thought about the up and downside risk.
