Forum posts for Review of Kiln People by David Brin

Do people actually want to see Book Reviews here?
I know that they're less likely to generate forum discussion, as they're more the kind of thing you just read, but I'm curious, do you read these, and do you want to see more?

I think the only time they have value is if it's a book none of the rest of us are really familiar with.

Like, if you read something a little off the wall, and liked it, sure, put up a review to try to get interest across to others.

Actually, I suppose another situation is if you read something we're all going to read, and it turns out to be shite.

For instance, I was glad that people told me the basic plot synopsis for pillars of creation before I read it, as it made sure I didn't waste my time on it.
