Forum posts for Team America: World Police

I love these guys.

I was reading about them recently, and I was pretty surprised to find out that they're Republicans. Who knew?

I also found out that they did not make that little Klu Klux Klan movie in Bowling for Columbine. It's confusing, because they interview one of them and the animation style is similar, but apparently they weren't involved in it, you're just supposed to think they were.

Has anyone seen this?

So last night I went and saw Team American: World Police.

I don't know what's wrong with me. When the South Park movie came out, I loved South Park (Although I think I love it even more now), but for some reason I didn't go see the movie. Then, when I finally saw the movie it was the greatest comedy of all time. Greatest musical too.

So, Team America comes out, and I take my sweet time, not going to see it until three weeks after it comes out.

This movie is comedy gold.

I'd read alot about how they insult pansies on the left and war mongers on the right, but really, it's not that bad, it's just absurd. They're using fucking puppets!
And this movie needed to be done with puppets, there's jokes and lines that wouldn't work otherwise. Yes, if you're a fan of Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin, or Kin Jong Il, you might not love this movie. But whatever, just put that aside and laugh at the pure absurdness of everything.

Oh Yeah

There were a surprising amount of Star Wars references.
At least two anyways.
